This update is intended to increase reliability of the mainframe connection and dramatically increase the number of licenses available to users.Why is this update important?
  1. Click here, select Request a Certificate, and click NEXT.

  2. You will then be given an option to select Web Browser Certificate under the User Certificate Request category. Click NEXT.

  3. Fill in the user information and click NEXT.

    Name: Data Services User ID (ex: po9999)

    Email: User email account address (ex: JDoe@mytitleco.com)

    Company: User Title Company.

    Department: Company department (ex: Research Dept)

    City: City location (ex: Salt Lake City)

    State: State location (ex: Utah)

    Country/Region: Country location (ex: US)

  4. Confirmation message: The certificate you requested was issued to you.

  5. Click Install this cerificate.

  6. Close out of Internet Explorer completely and log back on to the Recorder's home page.

  7. The certificate is now installed. To begin using this client go to the top drop-down menu on the Recorder's website and select: Documents -> Mainframe -> Start, or click on Mainframe Connection under Data Search.
NOTE: The certificate must be requested and received from the same PC. The user account that is used to request the certificate must be the same account that will be used to logon to the mainframe. Request Browser Certificate - Updated version of Windows 98/NT/ME/2000/XP. Click here to run update.
